Central Louisiana Homeless Coalition

Please join us for the upcoming Membership meeting of the Central Louisiana Coalition to Prevent Homelessness! The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Thanks to a grant from the Rapides Foundation’s Non Profit Works Capacity Building Program, the Coalition is getting ready to embark on a Strategic Planning process and we need your input! We all know that services for the homeless in this community are limited and funds to assist this population are difficult to come by. With your help, we can identify gaps in services and develop a plan that can truly bring us closer to ending homelessness in our community. The first stage of the Strategic Planning process will begin on September 8 with discussion of current programs and services that are available to assist the homeless, as well as services that are needed but are currently unavailable. All members of the community are invited to attend this very important planning meeting.

If you live or work anywhere in Central Louisiana and are a social worker, an elected official, a member of law enforcement, a business owner, a member of an agency that serves the homeless, or a community member interested in ending homelessness in your community, we invite you to participate in this meeting.
