HMIS/ServicePoint

Region VI Central Louisiana uses ServicePoint for its Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). ServicePoint is a HUD-approved, web-based client and resource management application with real-time data updates. ServicePoint was developed by Bowman Systems Inc, located in Shreveport, LA. 

ServicePoint has many advantages for its users, including:

• Client tracking to prevent a duplication of services
• ActivityPoint to view case management and services received from any participating agency
• ResourcePoint to view shelter beds available for referrals and many other resources
• Detailed reporting capabilities for agency use and sharing of information

Any agency wishing to seek local, state, or federal funding should be a participant in HMIS. Contact our office for more information.
